Local Government By-election Results

Conservatives gained a seat from Labour in Gravesham and gained a seat from an Independent on North Yorkshire County Council. Labour held a seat in Liverpool. An Independent held a seat in Richmondshire.

CCA Bursary Scheme 2017/18

This year the CCA will be offering five councillors the unique opportunity to receive one of our CCA bursaries. The focus, this year, is on councillors from groups who are less well represented amongst our members.

Public Speaking Course for Councillors 2013

Due to popular demand, the CCA are delighted to announce two new dates for Stage I of the Public Speaking Course for Councillors in conjunction with The Roe Project.

CCA Social Action Seminar

The CCA is teaming up with the CCHQ Social Action Department to provide CCA members with guidance and advice on how to set up a social action project in your ward.

New CCA membership year

Subscriptions for the 2011/2012 membership year became due on 1st June 2011.  The subscription amount will remain at £30.00 per annum per member.
