Local Government By-Election Results

There were seven by-elections this week.

On Wednesday, Labour gained a seat from Conservatives in Spelthorne.
 
On Thursday, Conservatives held seats in Castle Point, South Kesteven and Lincolnshire.  They also gained a seat from an Independent (originally elected as Conservative) in South Kesteven and a further seat in Maldon from a non-aligned councillor (who was originally elected as Conservative). 
 
Labour gained a seat from an Independent in County Durham.
