The CCA produces @cca.voice magazine four times a year as well as various one-off special briefing papers.
The CCA also produces a number of guides that you can view online in the CCA secure area. These include the Guide for New Councillors, Involving Young People in Local Democracy, Engaging with your Constituents, and Councillors and the Law.
The CCA has an email service providing members with up-to-date news and messages from the DCLG team. Once a week members are sent by-election results, policy briefings and other relevant news of use to them in their role as councillors and campaigners.
CCA Members receive discounted rates at CCA events including the CCA Local Government Conference.
We also regularly run workshops, training and policy days across the country which are free or subsidised for CCA members.
For our detailed events listing please see CCA Events
The CCA offers campaign support including our campaign briefs and guides such as Working to Win and Winning your Local By-Election.
The CCA also employs a dedicated Local Government By-Election Campaigner to help you with your campaign, as well as a Legal Officer to help with any legal queries surrounding your campaign and your work as a councillor. For their details, please visit CCA Staff.
The CCA website is designed especially for councillors and provides information and advice to support them in their role.
Members can access the latest campaign packs, press releases, by-election results, campaigning guides and much more. The secure area of the website is situated within the Party’s Activist Centre as a one-stop shop for all Party material.
The CCA also offers a free website platform for Conservative councillors, yourcllr.com, whereby members can choose from three different Party branded templates to set up their own website. A similar website platform, campaigningforyou.com, is available for CCA Candidate Members and CCA Associate Members who are standing as Conservative candidates.
