Local government by-election results

On Tuesday the Conservatives held a seat in Adur and on Thursday they held seats in Bromley and Great Yarmouth.
Labour held seats in Salford, Mansfield, Nottingham and Cheshire West and Chester.
The Liberal Democrats held a seat in Mole Valley and an Independent gained a seat from Conservatives in Stafford.
