CCA Local Government Conference 2012

The CCA Local Government Conference 2012 is taking place on 24th-25th February at The Queens Hotel in Leeds.The Queens Hotel

The Conference will be attended by the DCLG Team, including the Rt Hon Eric Pickles MP and other key players in local government.  Party Co-Chairman, Lord Feldman of Elstree, will also be addressing the Conference for the first time.

 

The conference will consist of several plenary and workshop sessions running from midday on the Friday until lunchtime on the Saturday. 

 

Venue
The Queens Hotel is a four star luxurious hotel set in the heart of the city centre. The hotel is adjacent to the train station with excellent services to all major destinations.

 

Booking
Following the success of the All-Inclusive Package at previous events, the CCA will be offering a similar deal this year for CCA members. Other special discounts and booking options will be available including group discounts. Please email cca@conservatives.com to apply for group discounts.

Public Speaking Course for Councillors - New Date

 

Friday 16th March at Coleshill Manor, Birmingham. 9.30am - 5.00pm

 

Due to popular demand, the CCA is holding a further session of the Public Speaking Course for Councillors in conjunction with The Roe Project at Coleshill Manor, Birmingham. 

 

The training course will look at how to deliver a presentation, how to make an impact and dealing with difficult questions.

Attendance costs £80 which includes a sandwich lunch and refreshment breaks. The event is open to CCA members only.
